The beaches of Zanzibar

A typical picture of the beaches of Zanzibar is snow-white coral sand and hammocks stretched between palm trees.
All the beaches of Zanzibar are sandy. A distinctive feature is a smooth descent into the water, so almost all of them are suitable for families with children.
1. Nungwi
The sandy beach is also known for its parties - after all, one of the largest settlements in Zanzibar is nearby. Unlike the eastern beaches, the tides are almost imperceptible here. Swimming is convenient at any time of the day.
2. Kendwa
Located within walking distance of Nungwi. A more respectable resort area with a large number of luxury hotels.
3.Matemwe
Opposite the small and very picturesque island of Mnemba, almost a wild place with powerful low tides.
4.Page
The beach is known as one of the best for kitesurfing in the world. There are minimal waves with strong winds. The atmosphere here is party-like, and the prices are affordable.
5.Jambiani
Similar to Page, only without specialization in kitesurfing. The main entertainment here is snorkeling.
6.Kizimkazi
It is located next to the village of the same name, remote from the main resorts, so it is not crowded. It is the start for tourists of the so-called "dolphin tour".
